The incredible work of photographer and Foto Care customer Inti
Pachurin will be on display at the Leica Store in Soho, opening on Friday,
August 4th from 6-8 pm. “Peru:
Real People” is a portrait series from Inti’s years of taking portraits in his
home country of Peru.
Inti Pachurin was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where he
studied Communication Sciences at Universidad San Martin de Porres (USMP),
where he specialized in the visual arts field.
In 2001, Inti moved to New York City and continued studying at the
International Center of Photography (ICP).
His photographs, mostly portraits and photo essays, express
movement and force. He defines himself
as a perfectionist and a self-critical artist with his work. He believes that taking pictures sets him
free.
