Capture One Tethering with 5D Mark III and Nikon D800

Today Capture One released an update to C 1 Pro 6, version 6.4.3, that adds support for tethered capture with the 5D mark III and the Nikon D800. Both the 5D mark III and the D800 tethered into C 1 Pro 6.4.3 on OS X Lion without issue. Find a download for the latest version of Capture One here.

The process for shooting tethered with a 5D mark III has not changed, however the D800 has a new pop-up window when it is first connected.

After clicking Disable and restart, Capture One will automatically modify one of your preferences so that the D800 can function properly.

To change this setting, go to Preferences>Capture>Providers and check the box for Canon.  If you re-enable the Canon check box the D800 will no longer tether with Capture One, however all supported Canon bodies will resume functioning.
